ZOME is made with engineered bamboo splits (longitudinal sections of a bamboo pole) connected with stainless steel bolts. It is a self standing structure that does not need any support or anchoring to be stable.

Indoor/outdoor version.

The indoor ZOME is treated with a natural mat oil suitable for inside use. The outdoor ZOME is treated with a natural protective pigmented oil suitable for outside weather conditions and allows for easy maintenance of the bamboo strips.

The indoor ZOME comes in one natural color. The outdoor ZOME comes in 6 different color options: Natural, Clear, Ghost White, Bamboo Green, Forest Green and Black Japan,

Easy to build.

The modular nature and simple design of ZOME means it is very easy to build without special tools or construction experience. It is also very easy to dismantle and store it away for later use.

Easy to maintain.

The modular nature of the design means it is very easy to maintain the structure. If a particular strip gets damaged it is very easy to remove and replace without dismantling the entire structure.

What’s included.

The ZOME kit includes 350 precision made bamboo strips, 126 bolts and nuts and an installation guide describing the process to install ZOME.  The bamboo strips are coded with markings, making it easy to identify which strips go where. The entire structure is less than 37kg in weight making it easy to move by two people. All the parts come in a box 79 x 59 x 16 cm in size.

Warranty and service.

1-year warranty on the bamboo strips. Spare parts can be made available after warranty.
